Cievents expands UK events team

Agency cievents has appointed Jaime Mistry and Carrie Pearce as event managers, ahead of further team expansion.

Mistry, who formerly worked at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW in Sydney, has experience of organising conferences, product launches, gala dinners and activations. Pearce joins the company from CWC Group, and brings eight years’ experience to the role.

In addition to the two new hires, Laura Adams, who was part of Fay Sharpe’s Fast Forward 15 mentor programme, has been promoted from senior event coordinator to event manager.

Naana Appietang will also join the team, on 6 June, as event coordinator - venue sourcing, and two new starters from the overseas offices will come onboard in August.

General manager Lucy Francis said: "We are delighted to welcome Jaime and Carrie to the cievents family and congratulate Laura on a well-deserved promotion to event manager. We also look forward to welcoming new starters from our overseas offices in August."
