Banqueting House, one of the six venues cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, hosted 90 guests for its supper club on Wednesday night (11 May).

Guests were treated to a four-course menu created by Urban Caprice, as they dined under the Rubens ceiling. The creative menu incorporated a range of seasonal ingredients including a mussel marinated in coconut, chili and lime presented in an edible squid ink shell as an amuse bouche. This was followed by English asparagus, a sea bass and seared cauliflower main, and a traditional pairing of English rhubarb and custard for dessert.
