Mövenpick to open hotel in Dubai's Business Bay district

Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts is to open a new upscale resort in Dubai's Business Bay on Burj Khalifa Boulevard.

The 40-floor Mövenpick Hotel Apartments Al Burj Business Bay will have 299 hotel rooms and will command a prime position on Burj Khalifa Boulevard overlooking the world’s tallest building. It is expected to open in 2017.

As well as studios, the hotel will feature one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Its amenities will include a three-tiered podium area with six meeting spaces, a business centre, a destination spa, gym, beauty clinic and swimming pool.

Its dining facilities will include an all-day-dining outlet, café and lobby lounge. The hotel will also be situated nearby to major attractions including Old Town Island, the Opera District in Downtown, The Dubai Mall and the Dubai Canal Project, as well as the city’s financial and commercial hubs.
