Concerto Live rebrands as Clive

Agency Concerto Live has rebranded as Clive following a management buyout.

Managing director and majority shareholder Nick Robinson bought Concerto Group’s shareholding in Concerto Live for an undisclosed sum.

A new website, www.clive.co.uk, will build on the agency’s online presence. The ‘inspiration blog’ is being expanded and developed to meet the growing demand for thought leadership amongst clients, brand owners and marketing professionals.

Following the completed buyout, Clive, which employs 30 people in offices at London Bridge and in Aberdeen, will continue to work closely with Concerto Group, with its leading portfolio of venues and event service providers becoming preferred suppliers. 

Commenting on the announcement, Robinson said: "We have enjoyed a successful working relationship with Concerto Group for over five years. Our businesses are highly complementary and as we begin this new chapter as Clive, we are committed to continuing our trading relationship, utilising it’s highly regarded event services as preferred suppliers for our clients’ live events."

Sam Gill, CEO of Concerto Group, added: "We’re extremely proud of the exceptional live communications agency Clive has become, which has grown from a great partnership with Concerto Group in recent years. As they begin their next chapter, we wish all at Clive every success for the future and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with them on some truly inspiring live events."

Since 2010 the company has has built its repuation within the events industry, working for big brands including Facebook, Instagram, PlayStation, Honda Finance, BP and Virgin Media.

In 2015, the agency exceeded £10m turnover and reached number 25 in C&IT Magazine’s Top 50 Agency List.
