Bmi regional launches new flights from Newcastle to Stavanger

Airline bmi regional has announced a new route between Newcastle and Stavanger, Norway, which launched this month.

The new route offers direct flights daily from Sunday to Friday from Newcastle to the Norwegian city, which is renowned as a both a business and leisure destination.

Bmi launches three routes from Bristol

All passengers will enjoy a 20kg checked baggage allowance, complimentary in flight bar and snack service, speedy 30-minute check-in and allocated seating.

Commenting on the route launch, Jochen Schnadt, bmi regional chief commercial officer, said: "We’re excited to be adding this route into our network and with it Stavanger as our latest addition to our growing network of key business locations. Stavanger has a varied appeal: the city is a hub for the oil and gas industry, as well as being a former Capital of Culture with great gourmet credentials. Our new branded fares including our new executive product will be a perfect fit for this new market, offering both business and leisure customers the right product and flexibility choice when travelling between Newcastle and Stavanger."
