On Monday night (25 April) more than 100 event professionals ascended to the Leadenhall Building's sky-high venue Landing Forty Two, for the launch of the eighth annual C&IT A List.
Celebrating the best agency talent aged 35 or under, the guest list included rising stars from drp, George P Johnson, MD Events, Grass Rooots M&E, Banks Sadler and Jack Morton Worldwide, amongst others. The group received a standing ovation from the room as the full 2016 A List was revealed for the first time.
Following the announcement, guests enjoyed the view with plates of smoked salmon, mini sliders, ice cream and Champagne.

More than 200 clients, event bookers and PAs gathered at BMA House for a festival-themed showcase to promote their summer packages.
Guests joined in the ‘Where’s Welly?’ competition, spotting the pink wellies dotted around the venue. Resident caterers, BaxterStorey, served English sparkling wine, craft beer from Greenwich Meantime Brewery and a selection of eclectic street food including Brazilian cuisine, Shawarma with drama and The Mexican Kitchen.
Pastry demonstrations took place in the Paget Room, where guests had the opportunity to sample some of chef’s special dishes. Later guests played table tennis and enjoyed music from the band, Buffalo Tale.
Event planners gathered for the launch of ExCeL London’s new meeting and training facility, CentrEd ExCeL on Wednesday (27 April).
Guests had the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker and Meetology Lab CEO, Jonathan Bradshaw, on the science behind face-to-face marketing.
In addition to experiencing the brand new facility, event planners had the chance to network with industry colleagues, alongside members of the ExCeL executive and management teams.
