Duggan has been appointed by rugby's 'HQ' after spending two years working for business travel experts, Portman Travel, in the position of sales manager.

Her role at Twickenham Stadium will include selling conference, exhibition and banqueting facilities to ensure the venue’s event spaces are consistently in use, and that target revenues are reached on non-match days.

Commenting on the appointment, Duggan said: "I am thrilled to be part of the team at Twickenham and I am looking forward to working closely with the operational teams to create unique, memorable and exciting events for our clients."

James Lee, head of sales and marketing at Twickenham Stadium, added: "This is an exciting time for us and we are delighted to have Sarah on board as our new account manager. It is always great to welcome new team members and I look forward to working alongside her as we move forward in 2016."
