Phil Duffy will be responsible for initiating and developing new customer relationships, as business development director. Duffy, who previously worked as a senior project manager on the Rugby World Cup account, has more than 10 years’ experience in operations and managing sports related events.

Michelle McMinn has joined BCD M&E from Grass Roots as events team leader and brings more than 12 years of experience in the meetings and events industry, including managing launches for Ford Mondeo and Focus. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing the UK events team and will report directly to Sue Burgess, senior director for operations.

Meanwhile, Isabelle Azam has joined the team as programme manager, bringing 20 years’ experience in marketing and management for a wide variety of companies, from IT to finance, FMCG and automotive. Prior to joining the agency, she worked in the global event and sports marketing industry.

"I am delighted with these three appointments as they allow us to provide a high level of service following our growth, whilst supporting our focus on working with new customers," said Anthony Coyle-Dowling, senior director for business development & marketing. "BCD M&E is committed to building long-lasting relationships and these appointments allow us to provide tailor-made event solutions, allowing our clients to grow and develop."
