Ecsery joins board chair Michael Mahoney, Graham Lindsay and Kevin Walsh, who were appointed in 2015 after the agency’s rebrand.

She brings with her a great deal of experience from a career in marketing, across retail, FMCG and the leisure industry. Ecsery was formerly the global business development director for Cheapflights Media and in the past has held leadership roles for STA Travel, ThornEMI, Thomas Cook and Going Places. She currently has a number other non-executive directorships of listed companies.

James Wilkins, MD of Vista, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Francesca to our advisory board. She brings a strong and diverse background to Vista with a proven track record of working with businesses to deliver growth. Our advisory board has worked closely with the Vista management team over the last 12 months, seeing growth across all areas of the business including a number of new clients and 11 award wins."

The agency appointed its advisory board in 2015 to provide support and guidance to the brand in achieving its five-year plan.

Ecsery added: "I am delighted to be able to leverage my 20 plus years of client side experience to the Vista board and am excited to be working with Vista’s excellent craftsmanship and creativity in the marketing communications arena."
