Since being nominated for the C&IT A List 2015, the past 12 months have literally flown by. Taking time to reflect on the past year allows me to realise the progress, achievements and changes that have happened during this time (and there have been a few!)

I haven’t become a professional sportswoman (my alternative career), nor am I planning to work on this years’ Olympics in Rio (dream event), but I have found a love for cooking competitions – thanks to the Rocco Forte Hotels Cook Off competition, and I have been promoted!

Now director of operations, I am responsible for the operational success of the business reporting to the company board. This promotion is one step away from my goal to be MD before I am 40. But still plenty of time for that! I’m striving to improve our operational efficiency and increase cross-team working as we seek to deliver more events than ever before.

It was humbling to be recognised in the C&IT A List 2015. It opened doors, provided opportunities and offered promotion within the industry for myself and Bluehat. I look forward to building on the foundations I have laid in the three years I have been with the agency, and supporting my team to achieve our business, and their individual objectives.

I wish all the 2016 A Listers the best of Luck. Take every opportunity that comes and just remember that; ability is what you’re capable of doing, motivation determines what you do, and attitude determines how well you do it.
