The London meetings and incentives division, headed up by Gregory Preslier (pictured), has closed C&I operations with immediate effect and all group enquiries are now being handled by the individual resorts directly.

Preslier's additional C&I bases in Paris for Southern Europe, Frankfurt for Central Europe and Moscow for CIS market have also closed and he has left his post as regional director groups sales, Europe & CIS, as part of the restructure.

Preslier had represented the group in the UK for the past seven years and his prior roles included director of global sales at Concorde Hotels & Resorts, director of sales Monte Carlo SBM and director of sales at Intercontinental Hotels Paris.

The UK is one of the largest markets for C&I business to the properties, with recent groups including Peugeot, which stayed at Atlantis Dubai last year (2015).

Kerzner's UK office was unavailable for comment.
