Gough brings a range of experience and skills to the role, having previously worked in various areas of event management, from event conception and delivery to team management.

In her new position, she will be focussing on the development and delivery of events for key clients managed from Capita Travel and Events’ London office.

Kim Collins, director of events for Capita Travel and Events, said: "We’re really excited that Lauren has joined us. The variety and strength of her event management experience, combined with her ability to build and manage trusting customer relationships, is a real asset."

Gough added: "I thrive on developing successful events that engage, inspire and deliver a brand’s goals and I can do that at Capita Travel and Events, secure in the knowledge that I have the support of such a big agency.

"I love knowing that the support works both ways and I can contribute to the depth of our in-house experience in areas like teambuilding. I’m looking forward to sharing more ideas while we deliver some really exciting events."
