Overall, the agency saw a 19% rise in business across Britain and Ireland, which it attributed to both new wins and existing clients.

In addition to live events, CWT saw an increase in requests to support and consult on the development of an SMM (strategic meetings management) programme for major corporations.

The success was seen mostly across the major European economies, as well as emerging markets such as Poland and Hungary.

This news follows the recent announcement of the 12% global growth of CWT Meetings & Events’ business. Ian Cummings, regional director responsible for UK&IE and Northern EMEA said: "Growing our live events and SMM won us great results in 2015 but we are also aware that our clients keep coming back to us for our strong core propositions on safety and security, flexible global technology solutions and ability to drive savings for managed programmes. We look forward to supporting our clients’ events and programmes with the right mix of creativity, technology and ROI in 2016."

Last week the company announced it had taken on nine new staff, to handle the growing demand for services.
