To save money for the rail infrastructure company and introduce a more streamlined booking process, Inntel proposed the use of iCentral, the organisation’s online booking tool.
Director of business development at Inntel, Jane Dibble said: "We were selected primarily for our tailored response but also our knowledge and understanding of the industry, as we have multiple large rail clients who we have worked with and built up long-lasting relationships."
Raj Neelakantan, head of procurement at Colas Rail, added that by bringing bookings in-house, the dedicated team of bookers will be able to streamline the process.
"Having Inntel’s expertise and knowledge of our industry will be a tremendous benefit. Furthermore, we now have access to Inntel’s discounted rail industry hotel rates which will help us to reduce our costs," he explained. "We were impressed with their solution and both the simplicity and capability of iCentral as an online booking tool. I am confident through the training that is being provided that our consultants will be fully up to speed in a very short space of time."
