Formerly the International and European Associations Congress, the event has been repositioned to indicate that is for all association types, be it European, international or national.
April's event will be the 18th in the series and is expected to attract more than 240 delegates including heads of events, membership organisations and directors.
Highlights from the programme include the Executive Director’s Meeting – an exclusive opportunity for executive heads of associations to address their strategic issues – a Young Executives Pow-wow, and an Event Strategy Day looking at challenges such as generating revenue from events and raising to sponsor funding.
On 11 April attendees will be able to listen to a variety of Association Success Stories shortlisted for the Association Awards, which will be announced at the congress. Expert Briefing sessions will take place on 12 April, with experts and consultants providing updates on pertinent issues.
Association Network’s executive director, Damian Hutt, said: "This year’s congress has been designed to be bigger and better than ever before and we are really excited about the packed programme of content and events on offer.
"The congress is a great opportunity for delegates to meet their peers from Europe's leading associations, engage with strategic suppliers to associations and glean invaluable advice in events, membership, technology and marketing and learn a wealth of information," he added.
