George P Johnson Singapore hires creative director

Agency George P Johnson's Singapore office has appointed Vince Ota to the newly created role of executive creative director.

Ota joins GPJ from creative agency Wunderman Japan, where he oversaw client engagements for brands including Microsoft, P&G, Pfizer, and Schick. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in marketing strategy and creative direction in the advertising and entertainment arenas.

Ota will report to Wee Teck Chan, managing director of GPJ Singapore.

Chan said: "We are delighted to have Vince join us as we redefine experiential marketing in the region. He brings a wealth of experience in creating integrated experiences. His expertise in the B2B and consumer marketing space is sure to engage consumers throughout their experience with our brands."

Ota added: "I’m ready to amp up the insight-driven, integrated, and highly creative experiential marketing solutions for GPJ clients."
