Images of Nature, Whale Hall, the Volcanoes and Earthquake Gallery and Earth’s Treasury are all now available for meetings and events. In addition, the North Hall and Waterhouse way will open for groups from 1 January 2017.

Catering for all types of events from teambuilding to private viewings and dinners, the museum’s spaces are flexible and will accommodate groups of between ten and 400.

Lucy Meehan, senior event manager at the Natural History Museum, said: "There are many hidden gems in the museum and the addition of these magnificent spaces to our venue-hire roster provides organisers with increased flexibility, especially for smaller capacity, standalone events. The new companies on our accredited suppliers list announced earlier this year also reflects this changing status, to ensure that functions of all capacities and budgets are catered for."
