Wow Air will launch a new flight route between Edinburgh and Reykjavik this July.

The new flights will depart Edinburgh International Airport for Reykjavik twice weekly between July and October, starting from 13 July.

The flights will depart Edinburgh at 12.20pm on Wednesdays and Sundays, arriving in Reykjavik at 1.50pm. The Reykjavik flights will depart at 7.50am, landing in Edinburgh at 11.10am.

Passengers will also be able to continue on to one of the airline’s North American destinations; Boston, Washington DC, Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles or San Francisco. 

A320 aircraft will operate the Edinburgh to Reykjavik flight with single-class A321 and A330-300 planes operating the routes between Iceland and the US.
