At Grass Roots, Moralee will take a leading role with high-profile client accounts and large events. She joins from George P Johnson, where she spent two years as event director, and in the past has also worked for agency TBA. She has varied experience across the industry and has worked for clients including IBM and Deutsche Bank.

Moralee's appointment follows a number of changes at Grass Roots, which saw David Taylor take over as the divisional director following the departure of Des McLaughlin. The agency aims to expand further over the next few months, and is seeking new managers in the marketing and production departments.

Amber Keats, head of events at Grass Roots Meetings & Events, said: "Sarah brings not only experience but a whole new dynamic to the meetings and events team. She has worked on a variety of events in her past roles and this appointment comes at an important time for the division.

"We now have a very experienced team but future appointments are key to enable us to continue our growth within the market, as well as maintain our ability to provide events excellence across the board."

Moralee added: "Throughout my career I have worked on events ranging from the weird to the wonderful but joining Grass Roots really is a new challenge for me. Already I sense something special about the team here in Putney and I can’t wait to continue what is a tradition of creating fantastic events and client relationships."
