The agency, which sourced, negotiated and contracted more than 600 meetings on behalf of Bayer in 2015, has been reappointed on a two year contract. Ashfield Meetings & Events has also delivered live event services to the company, including production, creative, digital and communication offerings.

The re-appointment followed a detailed procurement exercise conducted by Bayer that reviewed key metrics, performance indicators and benchmarking against competitors.

Louise Goalen, business director, venue finding, said: "We are thrilled with the re-appointment. It means our partnership with Bayer can continue to go from strength to strength. As with many of our life science and healthcare clients, our experience in providing compliant venue finding services in a changing regulatory environment is a key factor in the successful partnership. We also regularly review our processes to ensure they are optimised to deliver significant savings to Bayer. The team are delighted with the news and excited about continuing to explore ingenious ways to add value to the services we provide."
