Starwood opens first luxury Tokyo hotel

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is to open its first Luxury Collection branded hotel in Tokyo this July.

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel, will be located in Kioicho, part of the central Chiyoda municipality and close to attractions such as Shimizudani Park and Benkei Canal.

The hotel will be part of Tokyo Garden Terrace, a mixed-use development which will encompass retail outlets, offices and residences. The hotel will be located on floors 30 to 36 of the tower, and will include a lobby on the top floor with panoramic city views.

The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho will have 250 spacious guestrooms, including 11 suites. The hotel will also boast more than 272sqm of state-of-the-art function and meeting space.

Other facilities will include a large indoor pool, fitness centre, spa, business center and club lounge. There will also be four distinctive restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining venue and specialty restaurants. The 35th floor will feature a signature bar with two-story floor-to-ceiling windows for guests to enjoy the cityscape.
