Dubai: three of the latest developments

A recently-opened hotel, one in the pipeline and the launch of a St Regis spa are just some of the latest openings in the emirate of Dubai.

Carlton Palace Hotel: The former Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Deira, Dubai has been rebranded and reopened in January as the five-star Carlton Palace Hotel. The 212-room hotel offers newly-refurbished rooms, a business centre and event space catering for up to 300 guests.

Radisson Blu Residence Al Sufouh: The 264-room property, set to open in the first quarter of 2017, will be located in western Dubai and will feature an all-day-dining restaurant, a lobby café and deli, meeting space and a gym.

Iridium Spa, St Regis Dubai: The St Regis Dubai, which opened last November, launched its spa concept, Iridium Spa, earlier this month. The spa has six treatment rooms, two hammam rooms and sauna and steam rooms. The hotel also features two rooftop pools while event facilities include an 800msq ballroom and five additional meeting rooms.
