Kort’s transfer marks the start of the agency’s planned global expansion and is part of the wider plan for growth following inVNT’s acquisition by Time Inc. in July 2015.
In London, Kort will be part of a team led by Muriel Holdsworth, inVNT’s EMEA managing director. He will contribute to the EMEA overall growth strategy, particularly utilising his experience in the automotive industry.
Scott Cullather, global managing partner at inVNT, said: "Michael has been an invaluable member of inVNT’s New York operation, and we are proud to acknowledge his contributions to our company with this move.
"We are initiating a multi-platform approach, collaborating with like-minded organisations that specialise in different areas and expanding our core services, including live, digital and traditional media, brand environments and a wide range of creative services."
inVNT plans to expand beyond London into key locations including Asia, the Middle East and South America. It is currently developing global activation strategies for multinational clients including Nissan, for which inVNT is a global strategic partner.
