Gooch brings more than 11 years of design experience across the events, exhibition and product industries and has spent the last five years working with automotive clients to create immersive event environments and experiences.

He will work mainly on Spark Thinking projects, though his skills will also be used for a number of Ashfield Meetings & Events' activities.

Ian Anderson, head of creative at Spark Thinking, said: "At Spark Thinking we have the culture and agility of a small start-up agency, whilst also benefitting from the extensive support infrastructure of Ashfield Meetings & Events.

"Given Dan’s experience and previous roles, I have no doubts that he will be the perfect fit for the agency. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge that will add value to client projects and he will be integral in communicating the creative vision of events to our clients. It is always exciting to have fresh talent on board and the team are looking forward to designing, creating and producing truly unforgettable experiences with Dan."

Gooch added: "I am looking forward to utilising my existing experience, contributing to fresh idea generation, working across a variety of client sectors and the opportunity to learn from new colleagues. As a designer, the agency appealed to me as it has innovation and creativity at its core."
