Mayo, who left TRO at the end of December, joined Freeman on 4 January. In the new role, she will be working to provide marketing expertise for the company’s exposition team and its agency service, FreemanXP.

Mayo will also work closely with the Freeman enterprise marketing organisation based in North America.

Kim Myhre, SVP and MD of FreemanXP EMEA, said: "Freeman EMEA offers a full array of brand experience services to our customers across the region and Sarah will be responsible for driving awareness of our portfolio of capabilities – from strategy, creative and design to production, logistics and audio visual. We are very much looking forward to her bringing her marketing expertise to our ever-expanding team."

Mayo added: "I’m excited to join such an outstanding global company and this strong and inspiring Freeman EMEA team. Their vision and design-driven approach piqued my interest as a storyteller.

"I’m looking forward to making a real impact on the EMEA business by telling the compelling Freeman story. What better way to start 2016 than with a new opportunity and at such a significant time for the Freeman brands globally?"
