LVP announced that eight of its venues had achieved growth of 20% or more year-on-year. The company attributes this to its investment in central training and its sales and marketing support.

Jo Austin, sales director at LVP, said: "These are stunning figures, ahead of the market and underlining the faith that our customers have in Lime Venue Portfolio venues. Our venues have performed magnificently in a tough market; we’ve been able to keep customers within the portfolio, ensuring that if they have an event, we have the venue that suits them.

"2016 also looks like another cracking year for LVP. We’ve really strengthened our offer to the market with the addition of the Churchill War Rooms and HMS Belfast in London, and Weston Park in Staffordshire, allowing more choice for our customers. We are also focused on keeping our customers delighted with the service and quality food that they now expect from us."
