On Wednesday (2 December), ACC Liverpool welcomed guests to its London Showcase at Bloomsbury Ballroom, marking a decade since the venue first hosted its annual event in the capital. More than 120 guests from the association, corporate and exhibition sectors, as well as agency representatives, attended for an evening of ‘It’s Showtime’ themed networking. Attendees were greeted by ‘paparazzi’ on the red carpet and entertainment was provided by The Twin Swing Charleston band, while ACC Liverpool’s in-house team delivered production.

Also on Wednesday evening, Smart Group hosted its ‘New York, New York’ festive celebration at Battersea Evolution. The event welcomed a number of corporate companies who each booked tables for their Christmas celebrations. Attendees enjoyed a Champagne and canapé reception before sitting down to a three-course meal. Dancers and acrobats provided entertainment throughout the evening, and after the meal guests enjoyed dancing and a go on the dodgems.
Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire also held its Christmas Party on Wednesday night, with event agencies among guests at the stately home's annual showcase. The evening included a tour of the house – including the 11 newly refurbished guestrooms – live music, Champagne and canapés and a spectacular fireworks display on the estate. The main aim of the evening was to give attendees an opportunity to explore the wide range of options available for all kinds of events and functions at the property.
