McGuire has been with Inntel for seven years in various roles, most recently working as director of procurement.

Managing director and owner of Inntel, Douglas O’Neill, said: "Kathie’s contribution to our business has been invaluable in many ways and I am, of course, very sad to see her leave after seven years on the senior leadership team. I very much wish her all the very best for the future."

Currently there is no intention to replace the role of director of procurement and Kathie’s responsibilities will be taken on by Inntel’s director of finance, Mark Wheeler.

McGuire said: "I have loved my time at Inntel and this was a difficult decision to make. I am looking forward to throwing myself into something new in January and the unknown is exciting."
