The new opening comes as a result of the increase in business being delivered in London for the agency. It will be Zibrant’s fifth UK office, adding to the existing locations in Derby, Milton Keynes, Faversham and Godalming.

The London office will provide a central base for Zibrant’s association services team, as well as some members of the live events, venue find and destination management services teams.

Fay Sharpe, Zibrant MD, said: "We are very excited and delighted to have a permanent base in London.  Our decision to open an office in the Capital is reflective of the increase in business being delivered in London for our clients across our business divisions.

"We have enjoyed close working with the team at ExCeL, especially this year, as several of our largest client events in 2015 have been held at the centre and we see that pattern continuing into the future."

The opening of Zibrant’s new office has been timed to coincide with ExCeL’s opening of their new training facility CentrEd, and Sharpe reported that’s Zibrant had noticed an increasing demand from clients for quality purpose-designed training facilities.

James Rees, executive director at ExCeL London, said: "We are delighted that Zibrant has chosen to open an office onsite at ExCeL, in the heart of London’s events district. Our ambition is to be the home of world-leading events, which means working with market-leading partner organisations and clients. This exciting new partnership with Zibrant will allow us to build on our close working relationship in the immediate future and in advance of the opening of Crossrail in 2018."

ExCeL has also entered into a preferred partner agreement with Zibrant for the provision of housing management services.
