Tim Penrose has joined founder James Dowson and sales director Simon Burleigh from Emirates Holidays this week, taking the total number of staff to three.

Dowson set up the DMC representation company in September 2014, and appointed Burleigh in March.

Since June, DMC Advantage has partnered with five additional DMCs including Scandinavian company BDP Events & Incentive, covering Sweden and Denmark, Maximice Events Group in the Balearics and Valencia region complementing Factor 3 Events in the rest of mainland Spain, Epic Morocco, Pure Arabia, which covers the UAE and Oman, and Hosts Las Vegas.

Dowson said the company may potentially partner with one or two more DMCs in the near future but wants to limit the number of partners.

"We want to retain our boutique feel and give our clients the personal service they require," he added.
