Lisbon: Four of the newest options for groups

Portugal's capital city offers new incentive ideas and venues to entice C&I groups.

Executive lounge, Lisbon Marriott Hotel: A new executive lounge has opened recently at the Lisbon Marriott hotel, with a private lobby area for guests. The hotel also completed a renovation programme earlier this year, with upgrades to 200 rooms and bathrooms at the hotel and the refurbishment of the lobby.

LucasBus: Transport company LucasBus has launched three private tours aimed at groups. The Sintra, Cascais & Wine tasting experience offers visitors the chance to sample wine tasting at the Viuva Gomes wine cellar in Almocageme, while the Sintra, Cascais & Sur Experience includes a surf lesson at Moana Surf School on Guincho beach. The Evora and wine tasting experience includes a wine tasting and lunch at Esporao winery.

Food and wine walk: Inside Lisboa Tours, which specialises in walking tours in Lisbon, offers a three-hour option allowing participants to sample the flavours of Portuguese cuisine in traditional locations. Activities include tasting Pastel de Bacalhau with vinho verde in a typical tavern and a walk through the Barrio Alto district.

Boat tour: Groups can enjoy a Yellow Boat tour to gain a unique perspective on the city, passing by monuments including Se Cathedral, Cristo Rei Statue and Jeronimos Monastery.
