Zurich on a budget

Three ideas to help groups make their budgets go further in the Swiss city of Zurich.

Lake tours: Groups can check out the boat tours on Lake Zurich that are included in public transportation tickets, choose one of the many venues that are located close to the lake for a dinner, or try out activities on the lake such as stand-up paddling or dragonboat racing

University venues: For meetings with a scientific background, universities in Zurich could tie in well with events as well as offering a low-priced options for meeting space for companies and associations alike. The Zurich Convention Bureau has a list of current offers.

ZurichCARD: For groups that are not only in Zurich for a meeting but also for some leisure time, the ZurichCARD is available for 24 and 72 hours and gives access to Zurich’s public transportation network including ships and cable cars, as well as free entry to museums and some deals at many shops.
