EAN will provide additional accommodation options for people attending MCI-organised congresses, in locations lacking availability.

"EAN’s innovative service will be seamlessly integrated into MCI’s registration and housing technology, allowing for a frictionless single booking and payment process for over 350,000 conference delegates annually," said Richard Torriani, MCI Group global vice president congress management.

Sebastien Tondeur, CEO of MCI Group, added that the group would not be replacing any relationships with partner hotels. "Our partnership with Expedia Affiliate Network adds a whole new layer of possibilities for clients who would like to grow attendance at their events and congresses, but who are currently limited by a lack of traditional accommodation for attendees."
