CHARLOTTE YATES, PROJECT MANAGER, PRINCIPAL GLOBAL EVENTS

For a relaxing incentive destination, we recommend the west coast of Malaysia, in particular Langkawi or Penang.

Both are beautiful destinations for incentives and teambuilding activities. They have tropical weather, so you need to consider the showers when doing outside events.

We have organised activities such as street-food festivals on the beach, scuba diving, watersport challenges, Malaysian cooking classes and day trips to the Belum-Temengor Rainforest in Penang.

As for hotels, we recommend the Westin Langkawi Resort; in Penang it's the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa. Both are well located with excellent service.

LOUISE GOALEN, BUSINESS DIRECTOR, VENUE FINDING, ASHFIELD MEETINGS & EVENTS

We deliver between one and five events a year in Malaysia. Most tend to be Asia-Pacific regional conferences in Kuala Lumpar, but we have also delivered incentives in the Malaysian Peninsula.

Kuala Lumpur is culturally diverse and packed with historic monuments, parks, skyscrapers and mega malls.

The infrastructure and hotel network caters for a wide variety of sectors and events. Our delegate feedback cited the rich culture, modern food and restaurants, and cleanliness as positives - and reasonable shopping prices.
