IHG to open InterContinental Ljubljana

IHG has announced plans to open a new 165-room hotel in Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana.

The new hotel will be located in the centre of Ljubljana, a short walk from major shopping and business district Dunajska Cesta and the main train station. It is planned to open in 2017.

The luxury hotel will include 165 rooms, including a presidential suite. Meetings facilities will include two banquet halls that can accommodate 500 guests each and six different boardrooms.

Other facilities include a swimming pool, a spa and a fitness zone. There will also be an all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor terrace on the 21st floor of the hotel, offering panoramic views of the city.
