Chambers Travel Group appoints UK sales director

Agency Chambers Travel Group has appointed Shelley Mathews as UK sales director.

Mathews comes from ATPI, where she held the position of head of sales. Prior to that she worked at Capita Group as a sales manager for 11 years.

Commenting on Mathews’ appointment, Daniel Von Weihe, Chambers Travel Group’s VP business development, said: "We are thrilled to have Shelley as part of the Chambers family. She brings a wealth of knowledge, enthusiasm, experience and creativity that will continue to drive Chambers success into the future."

Mathews added that she was excited to part of a fast-growing team. "My focus will be to grow new business originating in the UK – whether that’s domestic, European or international clients – and I’m already busy recruiting to fill four positions on our rapidly expanding business development team."
