Reed & Mackay sees 28% rise in pre-tax profit

Travel management and event company Reed & Mackay reported a 28% rise in pre-tax profits for the year ending March 2015, rising to £9.8m from £7.6m.

The company also witnessed a 16% increase in turnover, from £25.8m to £30m.

According to the director’s report, published on Companies House, the company has enjoyed a period of ‘conservative growth’.

"The company has continued to invest in technology and has recently launched its in-house, self-booking tool ‘ViatiQ’, which provides online customers with a platform to access the company’s propriety reservation system," said Fred Stratford, CEO, commenting on Reed & Mackay's commitment to delivering the latest technology trends on the market.

He added that the creation of operations in Aberdeen meant the company had witnessed an increase in demand for services from the oil and gas sector.
