Firebird Events held a party last night (29 October) at the Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

The event was attended by the agency’s clients and suppliers, including representatives from Samsung, D&G, Keith Prowse, Rick Parfitt Jnr, Coworth Park, Pennyhill Park and The Grove.

In addition to food and bubbly, guests enjoyed entertainment with live dance acts and music.

On Wednseday night (27 October) teams from 12 different UK event agencies gathered at The O2's Brooklyn Bowl for the Agency Olympics.

Event professionals from agencies including Bluehat Group, TBA, George P Johnson, CWT, RPM, Chillisauce, Grass Roots, BrandFuel, TRO and Chew took each other on in three different competition stages; bowling, a chicken wing eating contest, and ‘Rockaoke’. 

The venue provided an open bar and a buffet spread with fried chicken, pulled pork sliders and chilli chips.

SANA Hotels held a fam trip to Portugal from 21-26 October, inviting several agencies including Banks Sadler, CCD Global Events, Blueline Events, nexusvenue, Cloud 9, All About Venues, ACE Venues and First4Venues.

The group stayed at the 5* SANA hotels, Myriad, EPIC SANA Algarve and EPIC SANA Lisboa. They enjoyed an itinerary organised by global DMC Abreu, which included driving 'Gocars' through the historical district of Belém, before heading downtown in Lisbon, to sample local Portuguese food. In the Algarve the group were taken by ABREU on a Landrover adventure through the Algarvian hills.
