Wellpleased Events expands with new appointments

Agency Wellpleased Events has appointed two new event managers as part of a wider team expansion.

Stand-up comedian and freelance writer Martin Semple and Peta Haystead, of The Angels Events in York, have joined the agency as event managers.

The appointments follow Brogan Harker, who was made events assistant earlier in the year and Sam Mitchell, who was hired as a senior events manager in May. Harker was previously a sales associate for Hollister, while Mitchell comes from an events background, working as a manager for Table Talk and Blue Strawberry.

Simon Spikin, operations director of Wellpleased Events, said: "Continued retained business and the development of new clients has allowed the company to grow. We have expansion goals in place over the next 12 months and the skills, experience and knowledge that the new team bring will certainly help us achieve that."
