Before joining the Butlin’s team, Fernandes held the role of senior sales event & account manager at Chillisauce Events, where she worked on more than 360 products for a broad range of events including corporate events and parties, as well as teambuilding days.

After two years in this role, and gaining international work experience in New Zealand, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in events and team management.

As sales executive, Melissa will be responsible for positioning Butlin’s as a trusted conference and events venue within the UK C&I market. The appointment is in line with the organisation’s expansion, after Butlin’s reported a 19% growth last year, which included high-profile events for Elizabeth Arden, New Look and Rolls Royce.

Last month, Butlin’s Bognor Regis won the accolade for Best UK Conference Venue at the C&IT awards.
