Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines' aviation-themed lounge bar at The O2 launched in July. It includes a VIP Lounge for up to 32 guests, featuring four booths with an airline-style call system. A 'flying carpet' table is the star feature of the Secret Meeting Room, which caters for up to 16 delegates.

The Scotch Whisky Experience, Edinburgh
The Edinburgh venue's private events suite recently reopened after a six-year, £7m refurbishment. It includes a purpose-built, black marble and glass vault, allowing up to ten guests to dine amid the 3,884 bottles of the Diageo Claive Vidiz Collection. Exclusive hire of the whole venue is available for evening events.

Newman Brothers Coffin Fitting Works, Birmingham
This Grade II-listed factory was restored and part opened last October as a 'time capsule' museum and venue, featuring coffin furniture from the funerals of Sir Winston Churchill, Joseph Chamberlain and the Queen Mother. The Birmingham venue's meeting room can host groups of up to 25-30 theatre-style, while exclusive venue hire is available for evening events.

Treetop Adventure Golf, Cardiff

A 1,394m2 unit in Cardiff was reinvented and launched in April as a South American rainforest-themed indoor mini-golf attraction. Teambuilding events for groups as small as 15 can be held on its two 18-hole golf courses and its Clubhouse Bar and Cafe, which also has capacity for up to 80.
