Patel, who first joined TFI Group in January this year from more2 Ltd, was appointed as CEO at the start of September.

Patel plans to ‘press ahead more swiftly on corporate sales’ as he shapes the agency’s strategy for the future with his core management team.

He said: "Of our three channels - Pharma, Corporate and Association - Corporate is the one where we want to gain more traction and we have plans as to how we’re going to do that immediately, both within the UK markets from London and in Asia-Pac via our Singapore base.

"I’m keen that we build our skills base on the Corporate front and we’re transferring skills in-house as well as finding new staff, both of which we’re doing right now. We are getting a good number of exciting opportunities and winning new business, as well as gaining more traction from existing accounts."

Patel was moved into the role of CEO, while TFI Group chairman Peter Franks takes a leave of absence for ill health.

Simon Maier, creative director at TFI Group, added: "While Sanjay is the new CEO, Peter remains TFI’s chairman and he and the Board discuss business regularly - and of course we look forward to his speedy recovery."
