Church Street Events will offer consultancy services, including strategic planning and full event management, on projects in both the UK and abroad.

Pergande brings with her more than 20 years’ experience in international marketing and events, working with established brands and start-up companies. She left a role as head of sponsorship + events for global insurance firm XL Catlin earlier this year.

"For the hundreds of events I have delivered both here and abroad, the rules I believe are simple – always deliver a memorable event, irrespective of size or budget, always provide great customer service, and always offer value-for-money," said Pergande.

"I want businesses to know that we are passionate about events, first and foremost – but not simply for events sake. We believe events are a strategic marketing tool for building brand equity, connecting with clients and prospects and engaging with staff."
