Work has already begun on refreshing the 3,000sqm Hall 3 and Registration Area, with the next phase set to renovate the venue’s Mall.

Over the course of the three years, the programme will introduce new digital signage and screens throughout, new lighting and carpets and toilet upgrades.

Nick Waight, managing director of the ICC, said: "The planned refurbishments will improve the customer experience and freshen up the venue to ensure that event organisers have the best canvas to work with when holding their events at the ICC.

"The work on Hall 3 was completed in August and we have had extremely positive feedback about the changes from customers."

The multi-million-pound refurbishment begins as the ICC prepares to open its latest venue, the Vox at Resorts World, a £150m development that will include conference space for up to 900 delegates and a host of restaurants and bars.
