Algarve Tourism Association launches online tools for business events

The Algarve Tourism Association (ATA), the entity responsible for promoting tourism in the region and its products in foreign markets, has developed three online tools to increase business tourism levels.

A search engine, brochure and form will help planners to source venues and information to help with hosting events in the Algarve.

Dora Coelho, executive director of the Algarve Tourism Association said: "Business tourism already plays an important role in mitigating seasonality but still presents immense potential growth. The investment in this new platform aims to strengthen the Algarve’s positioning in key strategic markets as a destination of excellence for incentives and other events." 

She added that the ATA will focus on highlighting the quality and variety of offers in order to increase awareness of the destination and specific service providers.
