In addition to attending trade shows and hosted buyer events, Sandals’ Events team organised its own showcase for agents in Liverpool in September. The event was held on-board Lady Sandals, the personal yacht of Sandals Resorts International’s Chairman, Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart. Following the success of the Liverpool event, the team has plans to host further functions on board the 138ft yacht towards the end of 2015.

"Increasing Sandals’ presence at trade shows has been key to tripling the company’s incentive business in 2015," says Paul Tidy, groups & events manager south. "Attending Key Trade Shows such as IMEX, The Meetings Show, ITBM World and the Conference and Hospitality Show enable us to develop strong relationships with agencies across the UK and Europe."

In 2016, the team will attend ITBM World in Barcelona and will also be exhibiting at The Meetings Show, the Conference and Hospitality Show and IMEX Frankfurt in early 2016.
