Spade Events will specialise in both consumer and business celebration functions, including incentives, Christmas parties, recognition events and award ceremonies.

Collier, who was based at Five Hats for two-and-a-half years before setting up her own company, has already secured two new clients in the financial sector and has plans to tap into the technology, insurance and retail sectors. She will be working in partnership with Tim Roche, who owns an insurance company and will bring his sales and business development skills to the table.

"We are really excited about the future of Spade Events and seeing it continue to grow over the coming months," said Collier. "With a selection of clients and contacts already onboard, it's refreshing to work on the events that celebrate their staff in any way possible, whether that is through incentives, parties, gifts or awards."

The website is currently being finalised but has a landing page at www.spadeevents.co.uk.
