Chris Rose, who retired from his role as marketing director at Landmark Wholesale seven years ago, has taken up the position of non-executive director with XSEM. He brings more than 40 years’ experience to the role, which he will use to help grow the company’s base of clients.

For the last three years, XSEM has overseen the organisation of NISA’s annual conference, piloted a new incentive-based sales scheme for Molson Coors and provides incentive-based travel and golf programmes for PPG.

XSEM co-owner, Michael Gwilliam said: "Chris’s deep-rooted knowledge and experience in the wholesale and retail industry is something we’re keen to tap into. We have some ambitious plans to develop a stronger client base in this industry, building on the successful work we enjoy."

Rose added: "XSEM is a young, hungry and ambitious company with some great clients. They’re clearly going places and it’s an exciting prospect to think I can help them achieve their growth plans.
