Cutting was hired for his ‘strong technical knowledge and creative flair’ and will work with Penguins to continue to deliver ‘bigger and more exciting’ projects.
He joins from Fisher Productions, where he was senior producer, and brings with him more than 20 years of experience in creative event production. In the past he has taken the lead on high-profile events including Ghurkha 200, Danish House for the 2012 Olympics, Twitter for Brands at the Tate Modern and Secret Winter Gala for Save the Children.
Mark Buist, managing director of Penguins Events, said: "We are excited that Mike has joined the Penguins team and we can’t wait to create even more amazing events."
