At Capita, Flint will lead the teams that source venues and will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service through ongoing employee engagement and development.

Flint brings with her 15 years of meetings industry experience, having gained experience in hotel conference operations, venue finding, customer implementation, operations management and people development. She first joined Zibrant in 2004 as team leader, and worked her way up to head of operations – venues.

Paul Stoddart, director of meetings and events at Capita Travel and Events, said: "As our meetings and events business continues to grow, we are determined to retain high levels of service excellence. Nel’s operational experience, knowledge and energy will be of great benefit to our teams and customers. We’re delighted that Nel has agreed to join us and we look forward to working with her."

Flint added: "I’m really inspired by Capita Travel and Events’ vision and growth plans for meetings and events. Growth will bring further career opportunities and what really excites me about my role is being able to help shape the future of such a sizable, specialist meetings and events operation."

Flint is one of a number of senior moves from Zibrant this summer, including Lee-Anne Penn, who joined Ashfield Meetings & Events, Claire Okrafo-Smart, who moved to Absolute Corporate Events, and former global sales director Anthony Coyle-Dowling, who joined BCD Meetings & Events.
